Romeo and Juleit

This picture shows the love and passion of two people which is exactly like Romeo and Juliet. They seem to not have a care in the word except for each other.

To kill a Mockingbird
Racism

Rasism
Money or rich vs. poor
The case in the courthouse and favortism
Dignity
Social expectations
The law
Mrs. Dubose

Racism was a horrible thing that exsisted in the United States in the 50’s and in many ways still exsist today. This was an especislly bad problem in the town of Maycolb, Alabama. Definitely in the Tom Robinson case. Yet, it also exsist to all blacks in maycolb of the time. Another person affected by racism was Mayella Ewell. She wasn’t black but she liked a black man and wanted a relasonship with one but it wasn’t socialy acceptable. The last rasism case that I will tell about will be

The courtroom was quickly filling up with the people of Macomb County, for the Tom Robinson rape case, black vs. white. Atticus has a very tough trial ahead of him. The case was a simple one, considering that Tom was black and racism was still big. The odds were very much against Atticus and Tom, unfortunately. The jury of Macomb didn't want to be the first jury to let a black man accused of rape go free. The case was as simple as black and white.

From Kelsey~ This is a pretty good paragraph but I don’t think that you don’t need to say this case was as simple as black and white at the end okay. Thanks Kelsey from Brian .

From Lukas: This is pretty good, but it has some bad spelling and the statement that the jury to let statement does not make any sense thank you for your time.

From Mr. Davis: I don’t see any direct evidence. Make sure it is set off in quotes. Also, I don’t see much connectivity between your first and last sentences.

3.) What is going on with Mr. Dolphus Raymond? He pretends to be drunk so
that others won't judge the way he acts. Discuss what he wants
overlooked and why he would want to act this way.

I believe that Mr Dolphus Raymond pretends to be drunk all the time so people just think he has a problem and needs to get in shape. It hides his inner self because nobody knows what his sober side is. It leaves him mysterious to others so they don't know exactly how to judge him.
This weekend I flew from Salt Lake City to Dallas, Texas to see my grandparents. It was a blast! Everyday I went golfing at their country club which is very fun for me. My dad also went along with my grandparents. My cousin also lives in the same town and for a year they got a exchange student from vietnam. It was very interesting learning about his culture and different aspects of his life. It was an all out fun weekend hanging out with my family. Unfortunatly that long day that I didn't want to have to endure came I so I went home. That is how my weekend went.

Yes I don't believe that is all aproprate for Scout to hear and be so in with the very sick rape case of which Atticus must defend. She is still very young so she wouldn't understand what is going on with the case. It isn't a place for little girls so Atticus should keep her as far away from it as possible in my opinion.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone

Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone
This book is the first of the exciting and adventures Harry Potter books. Harry encouters a world extreamly different from what ever he has seen or imagined. In this world Harry is a legend. He is the one who stopped Lord Voldamort. Lord Voldamort twelve years ago was on the top of the world. He is an super evil man that killed countless people including Harry's parents when he was a tiny baby. Harry is the only person to ever survive one of his attacks. He enbarks in a new school filled with magic, new friends with special powers, and teachers with carisma. I suggest this book to all adventure seekers.

To Kill a Mockingbird

1) Why didn't Atticus show Scout and Jem all of his skills that he has instead of hiding them from his children?

2) What is Mrs. Maudies outlook on life and what it beholds for her?

3) How was Jem helping Mrs. Dubose more then he thought he ever was?
