Yes I don't believe that is all aproprate for Scout to hear and be so in with the very sick rape case of which Atticus must defend. She is still very young so she wouldn't understand what is going on with the case. It isn't a place for little girls so Atticus should keep her as far away from it as possible in my opinion.

I fshe is to young to understand it then there is no point in keeping her away from it exspecialy if she is going to hear it from people on the street any way.~martin~
